The Two Spirit - Xochipilli Ceremony is primarily a sacred space intended as an affirming, spiritual retreat for Two Spirit people. This is a free event. Accessibility is limited.
Families and children are welcome to attend. Attendees under 18 are required to be accompanied by a pre-registered parent or guardian.
Please register each person separately. Please inform us of groups that will be camping together. It is important we know how many are in your party, so we may plan accordingly. Space is limited.
Two Spirit, is a contemporary term used to describe indigenous people who assume cross or multiple gender roles, attributes, dress, and attitudes for personal, spiritual, cultural, ceremonial or social reasons. These roles are defined by each cultural group and can be fluid over a person’s lifetime. Some people use the word indigiqueer or titles/identities in their own language(s).
An altar ceremony will take place on Friday at Sundown. Its design will allow community space, feel free to bring an item (ex: pictures, flowers, candles, trinkets) to contribute. You may want to consider signing up for a specific 24-hour vigil 1-2 and 4 hour time slots are available .
